Twelve Twelve was created to challenge the stereotype and normalise the image of cannabis in the public domain. It celebrates all of those people who want to break out from the stereotype, we aim to inform and challenge the current status quo.

The social stigma associated with cannabis use surrounds everyday life with a sense of secrecy. Constantly living with the fear of prosecution, criminalisation and judgement from others.

We’ve been taught by the generations before us that this plant is dangerous and that we should fear it.

Cannabis doesn’t change who I am, it doesn’t define me as an individual but it’s a huge part of what makes me me and I'm proud to be that person openly.

Society is slowly awakening to the cultural shifts of a new generation.

Our time is now, it’s our time to bloom.

What does Twelve Twelve mean?

The name was inspired by the photoperiod on which cannabis relies to flower, as it’s a summer annual plant it completes its life cycle in one growing season. So when the light cycle shortens and the plant is exposed to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness it knows that the end of the growing season is coming, it’s time to flower and produce seeds for the next generation.
